Dr E. J. Joshi

E J Joshi (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery) descends from a family of traditional Ayurvedic physicians spanning a few generations in the Thrissur district of Kerala, India. As a result he grew conversant with Ayurvedic herbs from an early age and gained insight into the traditional methods of preparation of Ayurvedic medicines. He completed his B.A.M.S. in 1985 from the Ayurveda College, Coimbatore, under the University of Madras and has over 33 years of experience as an Ayurvedic physician. After practicing as an Ayurvedic doctor under the guidance of the eminent Ayurvedic physician Prof T N Krishnan Moosad, he started his own hospital providing in-patient facilities in Calicut district of Kerala. After 10 years, he was appointed as Medical Officer in the Department of Indian Systems of Medicine, Government of Kerala. He held this post in the Thrissur district of Kerala for 10 years until he opted to work in Singapore. He has been in Singapore since 2006.
