Terms and Conditions for Members

1. APAS membership offers an opportunity for an individual to receive the healing benefits of Ayurveda in the form of seminars in Ayurveda, monthly
webinars, access to online material and other activities of the Society. Members will receive newsletters featuring Ayurvedic news and updates,
research updates, physicians’ notes/tips, committee updates, safety reports to support and enhance one’s knowledge base and/or Ayurvedic
practice. Through this program Ayurvedic Consultants and Ayurvedic Therapists will also be supported and promoted in their practice.

2. Pay by cash or cheque (payable to ‘Ayurvedic Practitioners Association of Singapore’) (bank transfer will be made available soon)

3. IMPORTANT: Please read the terms and conditions carefully before signing.

1. Persons who are below 18 years of age shall not be accepted as members without the written consent of their parent or guardian.

2. Application and approval of Membership: A person wishing to join the Society should submit his particulars to the Secretary on the prescribed
form along with the membership fee of $20 per annum to be approved by the Committee. The Committee shall have the power to refuse
membership to an applicant, where it is considered such membership would be detrimental to the aims, purposes or activities of the group.

3. Any person taking up membership of the Society during any part of the calendar year shall still pay the full annual membership fee.

4. Subscription to the society is renewed by payment of the annual fees in advance within the first month of the calendar year. If a member falls
into arrears with his subscription or other dues, he shall be informed as soon as practicable by the Treasurer. If he fails to settle his arrears
within two weeks of due date, he will be denied the privileges of membership until he settles his account and will automatically cease to be a
member. The membership amount shall be reviewed annually by the committee of the Society.

5. Registration and termination of membership: Any member of the association may resign his/her membership, by giving to the secretary of the
association written notice to that effect and to seek approval from the Management Committee.

6. The Committee may, by resolution passed at a meeting thereof, terminate or suspend the membership of any member, if in its opinion his/her
conduct is prejudicial to the interests and objects of the association.

7. Upon termination of membership there shall be no refund of membership fees paid unless such termination is with 14 calendar days of first
registration as a member.
